Opportunities in Honors

The Heltzer Honors Program offers students academic opportunities in the form of specialized honors courses, leadership, service, and co-curricular activities through the Appalachian Honors Association, and a residential living-learning option in East Hall. International educational experiences are also a critical and required part of the Honors experience at ASU, and there are many ways to explore the world with the Heltzer Honors Program and with the help of the Office of International Education and Development.

Honors students also have the opportunity to meet with their Honors Advisor throughout the year for academic mentoring that goes beyond course selection and scheduling. This personalized advising with the Honors advising faculty and staff encourages students to think of ways in which their academic, co-curricular, and social experiences at ASU can be blended to provide the very best collegiate experience possible.
