Appalachian Honors Association (AHA!)
The Appalachian Honors Association (AHA!) is the student-elected organization for the Heltzer Honors Program student body. The elected officers serve as the Honors Student Advisory Committee for the Heltzer Honors Program, providing liaison between the students and the Honors faculty and staff, as well as with the Honors Advisory Committee. AHA! sponsors activities that support and enhance the academic, service, and social experience of the students. As an officially recognized ASU club, AHA! helps increase Honors visibility through campus and local involvement, including service events such as cleaning Kraut Creek, educational programs, such as invited guest speakers, and social activities, like ski trips! The AHA! members create their own dynamic opportunities that enhance Honors students' overall Appalachian experience. The current AHA! leadership, with support from their Honors Advisor and the CSIL, http://csil.appstate.edu/, have great plans for this year, so join in and get involved!
