Study Abroad/Study Away

Honors students are strongly encouraged to study away in North America and/or study abroad. A course or program may be arranged through the HHP, in which case all credits count towards the Honors requirements. For non-Honors courses or programs arranged through the ASU Office of International Education and Development (or study abroad options not under the auspices of ASU) at least partial Honors credit can be earned with permission of the Honors Director; most credit-bearing international experiences will fulfill the International Education requirement for graduating with University Honors.

Honors students often choose study away opportunities in North America, such as the ASU in Washington, DC internship program.

Credit-bearing study away or study abroad courses may count in part for Honors credit with permission from the Honors Director, particularly those arranged through ACT or the ASU internship program.
